I feel that I have a very special connection with plants. They are mediators between the universe and Earth. They are our air, food, energy. Without them we would not exist. I feel that plants are very connected with each other and are intelligent. They do move to survive, have characters, have sexual organs, are sensitive, have a time of birth and death. Their flowers are not just beautiful objects but spiritual essences that separate the past, during which their host plants accumulated celestial energy and tangible elements of Earth, from the future, when the flower produces seed to continue life.  I try to reflect these in my paintings.
