Zakharof
Valentina Zakharof is a Belarusian emigre artist living in
New York City and Cape Cod. Working in the Surrealist tradition,
she is able to see the magic that exists in everyday life,
with a fanciful and often electric technique, her work embodies
the New Age sensibilities with the more serious surrealist
tradition. Incorporating many aspects of her everyday life,
she weaves the familiar into the wondrous layers of multi-dimensional
consciousness.
