have wanted the faces I paint to contain tons of current information...
without lines of demarcation between anatomy and technology--
man-machines which, glowing strangely from within, nevertheless
prevail as man.
My conviction is that all material innovations are evoloutionary
extensions of human senses and today have become inseparable
from us. Each of my personnages embody mechanical/electronic/cybernetic
elements to uniquely express this concept.
Amid the horrors and hopes of today's turbulent world, I want
my works to sound a warning and strike a deep chord in
humanity's heart.
